OK Win Logo: Using the Icon to Check You Have the Real App

The OK Win logo on your home screen is a quick first check, but on its own it proves nothing, because clones copy icons easily. Use it together with the app name under the icon and the App info screen, and compare all three with a copy you know is genuine.

Why the OK Win logo alone is not enough

An app icon is just an image. Anyone building a fake app can take a screenshot of the real icon and use it. Some clones copy it exactly; others change a colour or a letter slightly so it passes a quick glance. We are not going to describe the real logo's design here, because designs change with updates and a description would only help copycats. What stays useful is the method of comparing.

Think of the icon as a reason to look closer, not as proof. If anything about it looks off, the checks below will confirm it.

The comparison method, step by step

  1. 1

    Get a reference you trust

Open the official OK Win website you reached yourself and look at the logo there, or check a phone where the app was installed from the official site. That is your reference. Images from groups, ads or YouTube thumbnails are not.

  2. 2

Compare the icon side by side

Look at colours, letter shapes, spacing and background shape. Small differences such as a different shade or a slightly different font are common in clones.

  3. 3

Read the name under the icon

Look for extra words, odd spellings, or added terms like Pro, VIP, Mod, Hack or Prediction.

  4. 4

    Open App info

Long-press the icon and tap App info. Note the app name, version and permissions shown.

  5. 5

Compare App info with the reference

If someone you trust has the real app, compare the same screen on their phone. Different details mean different apps.

If you do not know anyone with the real app, uninstall what you have and install fresh from the official site you open yourself. Then the copy on your phone becomes your reference, and anything that appears later with a similar icon can be compared against it. Take a screenshot of the real App info screen so you can check it again after updates.

The name under the icon

Home screens shorten long names, so the label may be cut off. Open the app drawer or App info to see the full name. These are patterns to watch for:

Label patternWhat it may mean
Extra word like Pro, VIP, Mod, HackA modified or fake copy. There is no genuine paid or premium edition.
"Prediction" or "Signal" in the nameA separate app claiming to predict results. Results are random, so this is a scam.
Different spelling (OkWinn, 0K Win, Ok Wine)A lookalike riding on typos. See our ok wine apk guide.
Generic name like Game or LotteryThe app may be hiding what it is, or the icon was swapped.
Two OK Win icons on one phoneOne of them is probably not the real app. Check both in App info.

What to look at on the App info screen

App info is harder to fake than an icon. Open Settings → Apps → the app. Menu names vary a little by phone brand, but you will usually find these:

  • Package name: a technical ID that looks like a reversed web address. Some phones show it directly, others show it under Advanced or when you scroll down. Two apps with the same icon but different package names are different apps.
  • Permissions: a real gaming app needs little beyond notifications and possibly storage. Read SMS, contacts, Accessibility or Display over other apps are warning signs.
  • Installed from: some phones show which app installed it, such as Chrome or a file manager. A WhatsApp or Telegram installer means it came from a forwarded file.
  • Storage and data use: an app that uses lots of data in the background when you are not playing deserves a closer look.

If App info does not match

Uninstall the app, then change your OK Win password from the official site. Never share an OTP with anyone. If money was taken, report on cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.

How clone icons get onto phones

Most clones arrive through a link, not a store. A message says there is a new version, a bonus app or a prediction tool, and the file installs with an icon that looks familiar. Some fake apps also add a second icon, or hide their own and leave only a copied logo. Website shortcuts can be faked too: a lookalike site added to your home screen shows whatever icon its maker chose.

Watch for icons that change. If the OK Win logo on your home screen suddenly looks different after you installed something else, or a second similar icon appears without an update from the official site, open App info for both before you log in to either.

The safe habit is to install only from the official site, and to remove any icon you do not remember adding. Our fake game link cases show real patterns, and the OK Win APK page explains the correct install route.

The OK Win logo on websites and ads

Seeing the OK Win logo on a page or ad does not make it official. Fan pages, agents and scam sites all reuse it, and so do independent guides like this one. Check the address bar, and read our notes on checking a domain. OK Win is for adults 18 and over, and its legal status depends on your Indian state.

Frequently asked questions

Does the right OK Win logo mean the app is real?

No. Icons are easy to copy. Check the name under the icon and the App info screen as well.

I have two OK Win icons on my phone. What should I do?

Open App info for both and compare package names and permissions. Remove the one that does not match a copy from the official site.

Where can I see an app's package name?

In Settings → Apps → the app. Depending on the phone, it appears on App info directly, under Advanced, or at the bottom of the screen.

Can a website shortcut have the OK Win logo?

Yes. Any site added to the home screen can use any icon, so check the address the shortcut opens.
