Domains explained
ok.win and Mirror Links: How App Domains Work
ok.win is one of the web addresses people type when looking for OK Win, and with apps in this category the working address can change over time. This guide explains how domains and mirror links work, why they change, and how to get the current link safely. We do not say which domain is official. We show you how to check.
What a domain is, in plain terms
A domain is the name you type to reach a website, like a contact name that points to a phone number. Behind it are servers that hold the actual site. Whoever registers a name controls where it points.
Anyone can register any name that is still free, including names that look like a brand. The ending, such as .com, .in or .win, is called a top-level domain. Endings like .win are open to the public, so a name ending in .win tells you nothing about who owns it.
What typing ok.win tells you, and what it doesn't
People type ok.win because it reads like the brand name with a dot in the middle. That makes it an easy guess, and easy guesses attract everyone: the operator, resellers, guide sites and scammers. A name matching the brand is not proof, and a name not matching it is not proof either.
Our position
We do not confirm ok.win or any other address as the official OK Win site. Domains can change hands and apps can move. The only reliable check is the link inside the official app you already trust.
What mirror links are
A mirror is a second domain that opens the same service. Your account and balance live on the operator's servers, not on the domain, so a genuine mirror logs you in with the same number and password and shows the same wallet.
Apps keep mirrors so that if one address stops working, users can switch without losing anything. The problem is that scammers copy the idea. They post their own "mirror" that looks identical and collects passwords and deposits.
Why apps like this change domains
- Blocking. Real-money gaming sites in India can be blocked by internet providers or under government orders, so the old address stops opening on Jio, Airtel or other networks.
- Safety flags. Browsers or search engines may mark an address, which pushes operators to a new one.
- Registration problems. A domain can lapse or run into trouble with the company it was registered through.
- Rebrands and restructuring. Operators sometimes reorganise and move everything to new names.
We cannot tell you why any particular link changed. What matters is that an address stopping is normal, and that the moment it stops is exactly when scammers post replacements.
Is the link blocked, or is something else wrong?
Before you go looking for a new address, check whether the problem is actually your connection or phone.
- 1
Try another network
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it opens on one and not the other, the address may be blocked on that network.
- 2
Read the error
"This site can't be reached" often points to a network or blocking issue. A page that loads but looks different from usual is a warning sign of a different site.
- 3
Update your browser and the app
Old versions can fail on newer sites.
- 4
Check inside the app
Look at the app's notice area for an announcement about the address.
Skip random VPN apps
Free VPN apps from ads or forwards can log what you type. Using one to get around a block can also break your state's rules on real-money gaming. If a site is blocked where you are, take that as a reason to stop, not to work around it.
How to get the current link from inside the app
- 1
Open the official app you installed earlier
This is your trusted starting point. A link you find somewhere else is not.
- 2
Find Share, Invite or the notice area
Most apps show their current address in the Share or Invite link, or in an announcements or notice section. Names vary between versions.
- 3
Copy it and open it in Chrome
Read the full domain in the address bar letter by letter. Our 0k win article shows the lookalike tricks to watch for.
- 4
Bookmark it
Save it once. Next time, open the bookmark instead of searching.
- 5
If the app itself stopped working
Update it from inside the app, as in our APK update guide. If you have no app at all, start with the checks in our game link guide.
Why "new link" posts can't be trusted
| What the post says | What is really going on |
|---|---|
| "Old link banned, use this one" | Anyone can write this. Check the link inside the app instead |
| "Official mirror, members only" | A real mirror has no reason to be secret |
| "New domain gives a bonus to early users" | Bonus claims are the bait. Real offers appear inside the app |
| "Admin's personal link" | It may be a referral link at best, or a phishing page at worst |
This applies to comments, video descriptions, Telegram channels and forwarded messages alike. Even a link that works today can be swapped tomorrow by whoever controls the post.
Does a domain change affect your account?
No. A real mirror or new address uses the same account, so your login details and balance carry over. If a "new domain" asks you to register again, deposit to "activate" your old balance, or pay a fee to move funds, it is not a real mirror. Close it, and if you already paid, report at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
Frequently asked questions
Is ok.win the official OK Win website?
We do not confirm any domain as official. Check the address shown inside the official app you already use.
Why did my OK Win link stop opening?
Addresses for apps like this can be blocked or moved. Get the current link from inside the official app, not from a post.
Do I lose my balance if the domain changes?
No. Your account is on the operator's servers. A genuine new address shows the same balance with the same login.
Is a mirror link safe to use?
Only if you got it from inside the official app. A mirror shared by strangers could be a copy built to steal logins.
