Rules explained

How to Read an ok.win Game Rules Screen

Every ok.win game has a rules screen that tells you what each bet covers, what it pays and what fee is taken, and reading it once before you play is the single most useful habit you can build. This guide shows you where to find it, how to read the payout table, and how a service fee changes what you actually get back.

Where to find the rules for any ok.win game

Inside each game, look for a small button labelled How to play, Rules, or an i or ? icon, usually near the top of the screen or next to the timer. In casino-style sections supplied by outside studios, the rules are often under a menu or settings icon inside the game window. If you cannot find it, check the FAQ page or ask official support from inside the app.

Read the rules once per game, not once per app. A colour game, a dice game and a five-digit draw each have their own rules and their own payout table. The game types overview lists the usual sections so you know how many there are to read.

Rules can change after an app update. If an ok.win game suddenly looks different, or a timer or option has moved, open the rules screen again before your next bet. A screenshot of the rules on the day you play is also useful if you ever need to raise a question with support.

The five parts of a rules screen

  1. 1

    Round format

How long a round lasts, when betting locks, and how the result is produced.

  2. 2

    Bet options

Every option you can choose and exactly which results count as a win for it.

  3. 3

    Payout table

What each winning option returns, usually written as a multiple of the stake.

  4. 4

    Fee or service charge

Any amount taken from each bet or from winnings, often written as a percentage.

  5. 5

    Special cases

What happens on outcomes like violet numbers, ties, or cancelled rounds.

The special cases line is the one most people skip, and it is often the one that explains a payout that looks wrong. In the common colour-game format, for example, 0 and 5 carry violet as a second colour, and some formats pay a colour bet differently when one of those numbers is drawn. The exact handling is in the rules, so read that line rather than guessing.

Reading the payout table

A payout table pairs each option with a return. To understand it, you need one more number the table usually does not show: how likely that option is. You can work this out yourself for simple games.

Option (common colour format)Numbers it coversSimple chance
A single number1 of 101 in 10
Big5, 6, 7, 8, 95 in 10
Small0, 1, 2, 3, 45 in 10
Green1, 3, 5, 7, 95 in 10
Red0, 2, 4, 6, 85 in 10
Violet0, 52 in 10

The pattern is always the same: the less likely an option, the higher it pays. That is not generosity. It is the table balancing the payout against the chance. Compare the payout shown in your app with the simple chance above and you will see that the platform keeps a margin on every option.

For dice or five-digit draws, the same logic holds but the chances are harder to count in your head. That is a good reason to start in the simplest ok.win game, where you can check the table against the odds yourself.

What a service fee does to returns

Many apps take a service fee from each bet. This means the amount that is actually in play is smaller than the amount that left your wallet. Even a small percentage adds up fast because it is taken on every single round, win or lose.

Hypothetical example, not real OK Win numbers

These figures are made up only to show the idea. Check the in-app rules for the real fee and payouts. Say a game took a 2% fee and you staked Rs 100 on an option with a 5 in 10 chance that paid double the amount in play. Rs 2 goes as the fee, so Rs 98 is in play. A win returns Rs 196. Over ten such bets with five wins, you stake Rs 1,000 and get back Rs 980.

In that made-up case, even with exactly average luck, you end up Rs 20 down after ten rounds. Play a hundred rounds and the expected loss is ten times bigger. Real tables may also pay slightly less than the fair amount on top of the fee, which widens the gap. The fee is the platform's income, and it is taken from every player every round.

A quick checklist for any ok.win game

  • Which results count as a win for the option I am choosing?
  • What does it pay, and is that on the full stake or the stake after fee?
  • Is there a fee on the bet, on the winnings, or both?
  • What happens on special outcomes like violet numbers or a cancelled round?
  • When exactly does betting lock?

If any of these answers is unclear after reading the screen, do not play that game until it is clear. Asking official in-app support is fine. Asking a stranger in a Telegram group is not, because many of them are selling something.

What the rules screen will never tell you

No rules page will tell you which option comes next, because the result is random. Anyone who claims to have read between the lines of the rules to find a winning system is wrong. The rules only tell you the price of each bet. For more on this, see the colour prediction guide and our myths page.

Frequently asked questions

Where are the rules in an ok.win game?

Look for a How to play, Rules, i or ? button near the timer or at the top of the game screen.

What is the service fee in ok.win?

It is an amount the platform takes from each bet or win. The exact figure is in each game's rules screen and can change, so check it there.

Why did I get less than the payout table showed?

The payout may apply to the stake after the fee, or a special case such as a violet number may apply. The rules screen explains which.

Do all games in the app use the same payout table?

No. Each game has its own table and fee notes, so read them separately.
